DD Osama is 19 years old as of November 3, 2026. HipHopDX lists his birth date as November 29, 2006, meaning he turns 20 on November 29, 2026.
The Harlem rapper, whose real name is David Reyes, began recording as a young teenager alongside his younger brother, Notti Osama. Songs such as “Dead Opps” and “40s N 9s” helped introduce him to a wider audience in 2022. His early career soon included collaborations with Coi Leray and Lil Mabu, followed by his debut mixtape, Here 2 Stay, while he was still 16.
When Is DD Osama’s Birthday?
DD Osama’s birthday is November 29. Because his birthday falls late in the year, he remains 19 for most of 2026.
His birth date also fits contemporary reporting about his age. XXL described him as 16 in its May 2023 interview and as having recently turned 17 in its December 2023 profile. Those articles describe his age at the time they were published.
How His Career Started in Harlem
DD Osama comes from the Sugar Hill section of Harlem in New York City. In XXL’s December 2023 profile, he explained that he began making music with Notti in 2021 and started taking recording more seriously the following year. xxlmag.com
His breakthrough came in 2022, when he was 15. “Dead Opps,” a collaboration with Notti, drew attention after his brother’s death that July. Another early track, “40s N 9s” with Sugarhill Ddot, used a sample of Ne-Yo’s “So Sick.” XXL identified both songs as important to his rise.
That period linked his career closely to his brother’s memory. He later released tributes including “Without You” and “Letter 2 Notti,” making their relationship part of his recorded work.
A Debut Mixtape at 16
DD Osama released Here 2 Stay in May 2023. By then, his music already included the Lil Mabu collaboration “Throw” and “Upnow” featuring Coi Leray. XXL described “Upnow” as combining drill, a hard-edged style of rap, with the dance rhythms of Jersey club music.
In his December 2023 XXL interview, he pushed back against being defined by one sound:
“I’m not just no regular drill rapper,” DD Osama told XXL. “I do everything, you feel me?” xxlmag.com
His release history continued with Before The Album in 2024, which appears alongside Here 2 Stay in Apple Music’s catalog.
The useful context behind DD Osama’s age is how early his career developed. His breakthrough recordings and debut mixtape arrived before adulthood, so profiles describing him as a teenage newcomer capture a specific stage of a career that began in 2021.
